I recently had the incredible opportunity to participate in a transformative four-day immersion into reproductive health, led by the knowledgeable and inspiring DeAnna Batdorff. This hands-on class was a class I had wanted to take for over 10 years! I received my first lymphatic breast massage at the Women's Herbal Symposium and I was shocked at how light it made me feel. How open I felt and that my lymph was flowing freely in my upper body. Our breasts have so much lymph in them! And we shove them into confining bras on a daily basis, limiting their ability to work properly.
Throughout the four days, I focused on lymphatic breast care, which provided me with valuable techniques for supporting breast health. I learned about uterine alignment techniques that opened my eyes to the importance of proper positioning for overall reproductive health. The exploration of herbal allies was particularly fascinating; I learned about various plants and their applications for enhancing fertility and ways to use them for contraception and abortion.
This class fostered an environment of body awareness and sovereignty, encouraging us to reclaim our autonomy over our health. It was a large group of healers who were equally eager to learn and share. The collective energy was inspiring, and it created a sense of community that I truly appreciated. I will be offering a option to have a 30-60 minute session in the near future!
